My journey from the Corporate World to the World of E-commerce and Digital Entrepreneurship!
After graduating from university, I entered the Corporate World earning the big bucks, but that meant working my butt off. With a burning desire to travel, but little time with my 12hr days, I took my first leap of faith and walked away from my corporate life to travel the world 🌎. I realised my vision of visiting the many places I had long dreamt about. It was an unforgettable time!
My E-commerce Journey...
I fell in love, got married and returned to Australia to start a family. I always wanted to be a mum and to experience that special bond🤍 However, returning to my hectic corporate world would mean missing out on special milestones as a mother, and this tugged at my heart. I knew I had to be my own boss so I took my second leap of faith and became a budding entrepreneur!
I launched my e-commerce business BabyGiftBox.com.au in 2006, and for the past 17 years it has given me the flexibility to be the mum I want to be for our daughter Alana, and in turn I gained a wealth of knowledge in e-commerce.
My experience spans from building websites on multiple platforms, business development, email marketing, SEO implementation & analysis, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram as well as navigating the supply and courier chain.
Affiliate Marketing Came Knocking...
Managing a successful online business introduced me to the world of Affiliate Marketing. Third parties could promote our products and earn a commission for each sale doing practically nothing 😲, while we worked hard all day fulfilling orders. They made money so easy and this got me thinking 💭
My Leap of Faith...again!
In May 2023 I took my third leap of faith and scaled back my e-commerce store to start my Digital Marketing business and seriously it was THE BEST DECISION I have ever made. I was scared to death as Baby Gift Box has been my comfort zone for so long, but life is not a dress rehearsal, it's about taking chances and following your heart.
My daughter Alana shares the same passion for travel as I do wanting to see New York, Europe, Greece and especially the Gilmore Girls Set (yes I am Lorelai and she is my Rory). My husband has other ideas and would love for our family to travel around Australia with our dog Charlie in his Kombi 😀 Similar to 17 years ago, to create the life I want to have for the next chapter, I had to become my own boss again, but this time in the DIGITAL SPACE!

I've been fortunate to visit New York, LA, London, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Paris, Spain, Prague, Italy, Laos, Thailand, to name a few. But by far my favourite place on earth is Santorini, Greece. Those sunsets are heaven on earth and I can't wait to go back and take our daughter, Alana with me.
We share a similar love to see the world and it is the reason I have taken this new path - creating my own passive income streams to gain back time and financial freedom. The life we created...
After living in several major capital cities over the years, our family made a life-changing decision to trade the big smoke for the gorgeous shores of the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland. It's a care free lifestyle with beautiful weather, beautiful beaches, amazing food especially indulging in ice cream before it turns into liquid sunshine.
Our own little piece of paradise simply invites that freedom feeling. We absolutely love the life we have created for our daughter Alana, and fur baby Charlie.
With our family plans to spend many months travelling around Australia, seeing the world again, especially places we haven't been to yet, we love that we can call Sunny Coast home 🌴
